  Thursday, January 14 -- Virtual North Jersey American Revolution Round – January 2021 Meeting James Gigantino on William Livingston   The North Jersey American Revolution Round Table (NJARRT) will host an online presentation at 7:00 p.m. on January 14, 2021, on New Jersey’s Revolutionary Era Governor, William Livingston. The speaker, Professor James Gigantino, is the author of  William Livingston’s American Revolution , the first biography in almost 200 years. Cutting, Splitting and Hewing Historic Longstreet Farm 44 Longstreet Road, Holmdel 07733 Saturday, January 9, 2021,12:00-2:30 PM (adults) Wood heated the farmer three times- once when they gathered the wood, once when they split the wood, and final time when they burned the wood. Come out to Longstreet Farm and get warmed up using a two-man saw and splitting wedge; learn how farmers used a froe to rive shingles or a broad ax to hew beams.
