2021-09-11 to 2021-09-30 - Monmouth County - Manalapan - September 11, 2001; The Day That Changed the World

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Monmouth County Library and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum are presenting an in-person poster exhibition: “September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World.” This educational exhibition recounts the events of September 11, 2001, through the personal stories of those who witnessed and survived the attacks. Told across 14 posters, this exhibition includes archival photographs and images of artifacts from the Museum’s permanent collection.This exhibit will be on display at both Library Headquarters in Manalapan, NJ and Eastern Branch Library in Shrewsbury, NJ between September First and September 30, 2021 The poster exhibition was developed by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and has been made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities: Democracy Demands Wisdom.
